The HSCC adoption donation is $100 for dogs and $50 for adult cats with an approved application, which is non-refundable. Adopt any two adult cats for $90. Kitten (under four months old) adoptions are $75 each and $100 for a pair.

We just got a large amount of black cats here at HSCC, and due to their unsuccessful adoption rate, we have decided to bring back the "Black Cat Special"

Pawsitive Tales

Almost 4 weeks ago I adopted a terrier mix by the name of Alvin.  His litter mates were Simon and Theodore. I am writing let you know that he has found a good home and I am enjoying him very much. He is pretty smart and is beginning to understand a few basic commands...sort of, he's still a puppy.  From the first day I brought him home he knew that when we went outside it was time to go to the bathroom and we have had very few accidents inside since then. I am sure it is because of the love and time everyone there spends with these animals.  The care you give to these animals shows when they come into a loving home.
