ADOPTING A PET FROM HSCC

The HSCC uses variable adoption pricing for it's shelter animals.

Our adoption fees offset the cost of evaluation, housing and medical care for the  homeless animals that need our help.

Some of the animals in our shelter are High Profile Pets (HIPP). These higher in demand animals quickly find a loving home. Their increased adoption fee leaves a financial legacy for the other animals in our care who may need extra medical attention or more time to find a loving home.

                                                   Fees range between:

                                  $75 - $150 for adult dogs (average $100)
$100- $175 for puppies less than 6 months.

                                  $50- $100 for adult cats (average $75)
$75- $125 for kittens less than 4 months.

There will be special discounted fees for pairs adopted at the same time, please ask an Adoption Counselor for details.

All adoptions are based on approved applications. Adoption fees are non refundable.
